Quick Hits: Ravens Season Outlook

Had it not been for Matt Ryan leading a Falcons team not expected to succeed and excel into the playoffs, Joe Flacco would of been last year’s Offensive Rookie of the Year. After all, he had Ryan both led their teams to 11-5 records and playoff berths when most did not expect that to happen. So what’s next for the Ravens in the 2009-10 season? Can they have the same kind of success they experienced a season ago? Will Flacco endure a sophomore slump? Is that Ravens defense going to let old age begin to hamper them? All are legit questions that most Raven fans are wondering themselves and questions that will be answered come September.

The biggest question mark the Ravens always have is whether or not the offense can keep up with the defense, atleast in the past years. Now that the Ravens have a quarterback under center that appears to get it and with one of experience under his belt, the Ravens can afford to open up the play book a little. Once the offense gets fully equipped and going, this team is going to be a problem for opponents because we all know what the defense is capable of.
