Baltimore Ravens 29, Houston Texans 14 BALTIMORE, Maryland — A couple of long passes, Billy Cundiff’s right leg and an efficient performance by the Baltimore defense was enough to give the Ravens another double-digit win at home. Joe Flacco threw for 305 yards and ran for a score, Cundiff kicked five field goals, and Baltimore pulled away to a 29-14 victory over the short-handed Houston Texans. Baltimore Ravens defensive end Haloti Ngata was fined $15,000 by the NFL for roughing the passer, a league source told NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora on Friday. The New England Patriots signed former Pro Bowl offensive guard Brian Waters, while the Baltimore Ravens agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Pro Bowl center Andre Gurode. The Chicago Bears yesterday agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Pro Bowl safety Brandon Meriweather, who was released a day before by the Patriots. The 6-foot-3, 320-pound Waters joins New England after spending the past 11 National Football League seasons with Kansas City and making four Pro Bowl appearances.
